Running Blind Fundraising Campaign: we are starting a 2021 fundraising campaign to raise money for our popular Adventure Camp boating day. We also need money to buy more safety vests, and to try to get more organizational support for our guide pairings. All of our money goes to direct support of visually impaired people or supported activities like our upcoming Boating Adventure Day.
Supporting the fantastic youth Adventure Camps and our adult blind runners plus paying a modest salary to 1-2 people to work a half day per week requires funds of around $10,000 per year. Fundraising for any non-profit is a constant struggle, and so it is with us also. I do not receive a salary, and all of our website work so far has been donated - mostly by myself now. Asking for money is not something I take lightly, and any money donated is not spent frivolously, so please consider making an annual donation and join in supporting our humble but worthy cause.
Below are the donation options you can choose from. (Run your cursor over each level for the details.)
$30 - RB Friend
$50 - RB Supporter
$100 - Honorary Guide Runner
$250 - Director's Circle
$500 - Ellen Wolfe Memorial Circle
All donations are fully deductible on your federal income tax. . . . . . . . . . |
All Running Blind Friends and Supporters will be recognized on
our website for the level of support made (unless you choose to remain anonymous),
and will receive occasional e-mail updates.
(Unless you choose to opt out of future emails.)
Please rest assured that any amount of support you can provide will be greatly appreciated and will also provide you with our heartfelt thanks and the gratitude of the people we work so hard to support who struggle daily to do the things most of us take for granted.
Thank you for considering making a donation to our cause. Any size donation
you can make will be greatly appreciated and we will recognize all friends & supporters on our website. I sent Ahmed to camp in Colorado a few years ago with a lot of $30 donations from my friends.
Becoming a Running Blind Supporter is a great way to show an extra level of commitment to our non-profit. 50 bucks is a standard rate to participate in a large running race. (Marathons are much more.) We hope you will consider a similar size donation to support our cause.
Providing a donation at the Honorary Guide Runner level puts you into our inner circle of supporters. Donations from two honorary guides (and 2 actual guides) provides the resources required to support one of our guide pairings for an entire year. If you can't be an actual guide, being an honorary guide runner is the next best thing!
Donations at the Director's level puts you into the upper echelon of our supporters. As a
sign of our appreciation we will be happy to send you a cotton Running Blind T-shirt.
Note: the PayPal donation link does NOT show the Directors or Memorial Circle selections. Please use the "other amount" input to make a donation at either of these two levels.
Donations at the Ellen & Richard Wolfe Memorial level puts you in a special class. My mom was the first to make a donation at this level, in memory of her husband (my dad).
As a gesture
of our appreciation, we'll contact you for the chance to ask any questions you might have and to consider any suggestions you have to offer. (plus a T-shirt!)
Or you can send a check (made out to "Running Blind") directly to:

Running Blind is 501(c)3 approved non-profit corporation in the State

Thank you so much for your support!
