Running Blind was founded by Hal Wolff of Ypsilanti Michigan (formerly Hal Wolfe)
in 2012 and incorporated as a 501c3 in 2014. Hal has been active in track & field as a runner and event planner most of his adult life and also worked with visually impaired youth for over a decade (largely
through the Michigan Blind Athletic Association) before starting Running Blind. He decided
to formalize his efforts and form a non-profit group to try to expand on the service work that he has found to be some of the most gratifying work of his life. Thanks for visiting our website!
